He was elected as a vice president of the Farmers Association for Peace and Development –FAPD. Buthoeun is one of the farmer’s mobilizers and the farmer’s activist defending farmers’ rights and benefit. He is also the core team member of cross-sector network organizing AGPA. 7 Mr. Chea Sopherkspeaks Khmer Sopherk  is a farmer from  Kampong Speu province.  He is one of the board members of the Farmers’ Nature Net (FNN). Sopherk has been working to protect and promote farmers’ rights and benefit. Lately, he has been involving in raising consciousness to his co-farmers on the issues of the two draft laws; Law on the management and use of Agricultural Land and Farmers’ Association Law.
